Beverages : Bald Brewer

On August 29, 2023, we proudly took over the torch from visionary founders Haaije & Anneke Bruinsma-Kasemier, continuing their mission to introduce the world to the unique taste and natural benefits of authentic water kefir.

Since 2014, Bald Brewer has been driven by a passion for honest, organic and refreshing beverages. Every product we make reflects our commitment to purity, quality and sustainability. Through a carefully developed brewing and fermentation process, we create drinks that are light, fresh and distinctive.

Today, Bald Brewer is built around three product lines: Original, To Go, and the future Virgin line. This portfolio allows us to stay true to our roots while developing a modern range of healthy soft drink alternatives.

Bald Brewer Original is the authentic basis of our brand: real organic water kefir, brewed with care and patience. It is a living beverage with a soft sparkle, a pure character and billions of live cultures.

Our Original line is sold in the Netherlands through selected organic and specialty stores such as Ekoplaza and Odin, and remains the heart of Bald Brewer’s identity. It represents everything we believe in: natural fermentation, honest ingredients and refreshing taste.

To make Bald Brewer accessible to a wider audience, we developed our To Go line: water kefir in convenient cans. This range combines the benefits of fermented beverages with the ease and shelf life of a modern grab-and-go drink.

The three current To Go flavours are:

  • GREEN – apple

  • BLUE – blueberry

  • RED – strawberry

The To Go line has a long shelf life, can be stored outside the refrigerator, and is ideal for people looking for a light, organic and refreshing alternative to traditional soft drinks. Bald Brewer describes this proposition clearly: it hydrates like water, refreshes like a soft drink and revitalizes with kefir.

Virgin – the next step

Alongside Original and To Go, Bald Brewer is working on a new Virgin line. This future range will further expand our portfolio with three new canned beverages now in development.

With Virgin, we are preparing the next step in the growth of Bald Brewer: broadening our offering while staying true to our philosophy of natural, refreshing and better-for-you drinks.
